FRANCO-ANGLO EXCHANGES
Sunday 21st September 2008; the Franco-British annual fête 'Faire Play' will take place as usual at the Racecourse (L'Hippodrome) in Vire (Martilly), starting at 10am and finishing at 6pm.
Free entrance and easy parking.

- Car boot sale
- Classic car dsplay
- Village fête type games (French and British); wellie throwing (record to beat 37m 40 for men, 15m 20 for women) and the French equivalent, cap throwing, mini-golf, darts, palet severin, tombola and many others
- Art and craft demonstrations and workshops
- Environmental stands; eco-friendly house and garden ideas.
- Local food products
- K'Fe Rencontre- chatting in English or French
- Pétanque tournament (mixed teams French- British)
- Children's entertainment (environmental games and more..)
- Food ; French and British menus
- Bar – this year, English Beer brewed by Steve Mobsby at St Germain de Tellevende.
- Tea tent with cakes and ice cream.
- Prizes galore!
